We’re excited to be expanding the UnitedHealthcare UCard nationally across our individual Medicare Advantage plans. Use these resources to learn more about UCard to help you promote it to your clients:
As of January 6, 2023, the following outreach is being done related to UCard retail transactions:
- Email campaign began today to notify members of the error.
- Outbound call campaign will begin next week.
- Apology letters will go out to all impacted members over the next few weeks. Here are copies of the letters members will receive:
- Replacement UCards are going to D-SNP members first and then C-SNP and MA members.
As a reminder, these errors do not impact a member’s ability to visit a doctor’s office or fill a prescription. This also does not impact the use of the UnitedHealthcare mobile app, which can still be used to make OTC and Healthy Food purchases in store.
