Base level certification
You must take all 3 base level certification assessments and successfully pass each one, which will certify you to sell UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage (non-SNP), Prescription Drug and Medicare Supplement Plans.

Base Level Certification
- Medicare Basics Assessment* (or you may transfer AHIP or NABIP with a passing score)
- Ethics and Compliance Assessment
- AARP Assessment
*Medicare Basics includes credit for Medicare Advantage Plans (non-SNP), Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans
Next level certifications
After you successfully pass all BASE level assessments you may then select any of the NEXT level assessments.
Anyone with a passing score for the Base level certification may also take these two assessments to sell or conduct D-SNP/C-SNPs and to be able to host events.
Dual Special Needs Plans and/or Chronic Condition (D-SNP/C-SNP)
To sell D-SNP or C-SNP plans you will need to pass the assessment.
