Can I use a mobile hotspot with LEAN?
Yes. Mobile hotspots can be used with LEAN, but slow connections can cause potential data interruptions and poor experience. It is recommended to use LEAN either on a stable Wi-Fi connection or entirely offline.

Can I use LEAN offline on my laptop?

How do I use LEAN offline?
If you have an internet connection and want to force your mobile device offline, you can do one of two ways:
If you do not have a cellular connection, you can disable Wi-Fi and you will go offline.
If you have a cellular connection as well as Wi-Fi, you can go into Airplane Mode to disable both Wi-Fi and the cellular connection.
When you are offline, you will see a red offline bar at the bottom of each screen.
If you are logged into the LEAN mobile app, LEAN will automatically continue working if you lose your connection.

How do I submit offlines applications?
Once an application is submitted while offline, it will have a Pending Upload status. These applications will upload automatically if you are logged into LEAN when you reconnect to Wi-Fi. If this does not occur, use Refresh List to manually attempt the upload.

Yes. You can begin an application on one device, save it, and then finish it logged into another device. This also includes being able to begin an application on the website and finish it on the mobile app, or vice versa.

Are signatures required when using LEAN?
Yes. LEAN will not allow you to complete an application without signatures.

Do I still need to fax/e-mail my Scope of Appointment(SOA) when using LEAN?
No. The Scope of Appointment should be done in LEAN. A Scope of Appointment form is required when conducting an in-person or telephonic one-on-one marketing appointment even if the consumer does not enroll. An SOA is not required when you meet with a consumer during a formal or informal marketing/sales event.
