Reminder: Conflict of Interest
In July 2023, UnitedHealthcare deployed a new conflict of interest (COI) disclosure and attestation process, which all Individual & Family Plans (IFP) brokers are required to complete annually.
The requests are sent out each year via email, based on your Party ID (PID) anniversary – so make sure your individual email address is current in our systems, and keep an eye out for your personalized email from UHC_Contracting@sircon.com on your PID anniversary.
If needed, you can update your email address in Jarvis by clicking your name in the upper right-hand corner, followed by Manage Profile > Edit Personal Info.
For more detailed information about the COI process and what to expect, go to Jarvis > Knowledge Center > Training & Guides to view a COI user guide and FAQ, as well as a video with step-by-step instructions.
Please note: If you are contracted with both IFP and Medicare, you will only be required to complete the COI attestation and disclosure once annually, as it will cover both lines of business.
Failing to complete your disclosure and attestation within 90 days of receiving your email invitation may result in corrective and/or disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
