In the Spotlight: August Is National Eye Exam Month
August marks the beginning of National Eye Exam Month, as well as Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month. Now is a great time to remind your clients who have an Individual & Family plan from UnitedHealthcare about the vision and pediatric vision benefits¹ available to them.
Individual & Family Plan (IFP) members can get an adult routine vision exam for $0, 1 pair of frames (up to $130 in coverage) and lenses for a $25 copay each year. Children on the plan are also eligible for $0 vision exams each year until they reach the age of 19, as well as eyewear benefits, low vision testing and therapy. Regular eye exams can help ensure any damage or disease is detected early on – so be sure to encourage your clients to stay healthy by taking advantage of routine vision coverage for everyone on their IFP plan.
